I have been a photographer for most of my life, starting with simple point and shoot film cameras, and then moving on to 35 mm SLR film cameras, and finally into the digital age about 10 years ago. My primary interest was and still is landscape photography, but with retirement, I have had extensive opportunity to travel, and now find people as interesting as landscapes.

While I do use Photoshop to process my images, I want to produce a final image that represents what I saw, rather than enhances it beyond reality. I want the viewer to appreciate what the world looks like, which is beautiful the way it is. I also want to help the viewer become aware of other cultures which have much to offer.
